Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the Ph.D. programme in the following specializations:
- Business Policy & Administration
- Accountancy
- Business Economics
- Management Studies
- Biotechnology
Eligibility
- Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum 55 percent marks / Grade “B” or higher on the UGC 7-Point Scale / Grade B+ or higher on the UGC 10-Point Scale.
- Candidates who have qualified UGC-CSIR, JRF, NET, SET, or PET conducted by the University of Mumbai, as per University Circular No. Exam/Thesis/Univ./VCD/947 of 2018 (dated 15th December 2018) and UGC Notification (dated 7th November 2022), are eligible to apply.
Admission Process
Application Form: Available at the College First Floor Office.
Submission Deadline: 25 February 2025 (offline mode only).
Required Documents:
- Duly filled application form
- Research Proposal (one copy)
- Qualification certificates (Postgraduate mark sheet and NET/SET/PET)
- Processing Fee: Rs 2000 (non-refundable, cash only)
- WhatsApp number for Research Applicant Group
- Google Form submission post-fee payment: Application Link
List of Eligible Applicants:
- Announced on 8 March 2025 via WhatsApp Group, College Notice Board, and College Website.
Interview Process:
- Date: 22 March 2025 (Saturday) at 10:00 AM
- Shortlisted candidates must present their research proposal in a PowerPoint Presentation (maximum 10 slides) before the Research Advisory Committee.
Final Selection and Admission:
- Candidates who qualify in the interview must submit the Admission Form and prescribed fees at the College Office.
- Selected candidates must submit the required documents to the University of Mumbai for Ph.D. research topic approval.
