NITTTR Chandigarh PhD 2025 Program Details
- Eligibility:
- Ph.D. under QIP Scheme (AICTE): Eligibility criteria as per AICTE-QIP guidelines.
- Ph.D. under Sponsored Scheme: Master’s degree in relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwD/EWS/OBC-NCL).
- Candidates must qualify GATE/NET or NITTTR’s Ph.D. Entrance Test.
- For Modular Ph.D., two years of work experience is required.
- Duration:
- Minimum 3 years for regular mode, 4 years for modular candidates.
- Maximum duration: 6 years (extendable to 8 years for women and PwD candidates).

NITTTR Chandigarh PhD 2025 Fee Structure
- Admission Fee: ₹5,000 (one-time)
- Security Deposit: ₹7,500 (refundable)
- Academic Fee:
- First 3 years: ₹10,000 per semester
- After 3 years: ₹15,000 per semester
- Facilities Fee: ₹2,500 (first 3 years), ₹3,500 (after 3 years)
Note: Hostel and mess charges are extra.
