Admission Notice for NCHM JEE 2025

B.Sc. Hospitality and Hotel Administration (HHA)

The National Testing Agency (NTA) invites applications for the National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination (NCHM JEE) 2025, a gateway to admissions in premier hospitality institutes across India.


NCHM JEE 2025 Deadlines

  • Online Application Period: 16th December 2024 – 15th February 2025 (till 5:00 PM)
  • Application Correction Window: 17th February – 20th February 2025
  • Exam Date: 27th April 2025 (Sunday)
  • Exam Duration: 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM
  • Admit Card Release: To be announced

Eligibility Criteria

  • Academic: 10+2 or equivalent with English as a core subject.
  • Age: No upper age limit as per NEP 2020.
  • Physical Fitness: Candidates must produce a fitness certificate at the time of admission.

Exam Pattern

  • Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
  • Type: Objective (Multiple Choice Questions)
  • Medium: English and Hindi
  • Sections:
    1. Numerical Ability & Analytical Aptitude – 30 Questions
    2. Reasoning & Logical Deduction – 30 Questions
    3. General Knowledge & Current Affairs – 30 Questions
    4. English Language – 60 Questions
    5. Aptitude for Service Sector – 50 Questions

Marking Scheme: +4 for correct answers, -1 for incorrect answers.

The NCHM JEE score is accepted by:

  • 21 Central Government Institutes of Hotel Management
  • 30 State Government Institutes
  • 24 Private Institutes
  • Notable names include IHM Delhi (Pusa), IHM Mumbai, IHM Bengaluru, and others.

Application Fee

  • General/OBC (NCL): ₹1,000
  • General-EWS: ₹700
  • SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender: ₹450

Application Process for NCHM JEE 2025

  1. Upload Documents: Recent photo, signature, and relevant certificates.
  2. Pay Application Fee: Through Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.

NCHM Exam Syllabus

  • Numerical Ability: Basic mathematics including percentages, profit & loss.
  • Reasoning: Logical and analytical puzzles.
  • English: Grammar, comprehension, vocabulary.
  • General Knowledge: Current affairs, hospitality sector updates.

NCHM Exam Day Guidelines

  • Carry Admit Card, ID proof, and a passport-size photo.
  • Arrive at the center before the reporting time.
  • Follow all instructions provided on the Admit Card.
