The Department of Psychology, University of Kerala, invites applications for the Post Graduate Diploma in Psychological Counselling (PGDPC) for the academic year 2024-2025.
PG Diploma in Psychological Counselling 2025 Program Details
- Eligibility: A Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from a university recognized by the University of Kerala. Candidates must have completed at least one full paper (100 marks) in General Psychology, Social Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Developmental Psychology, or Organizational Behaviour as part of their degree.
- Duration: 12 months (Two Semesters of 6 months each).
- Class Schedule: Classes will be conducted on Saturdays and Sundays only.
- Instructional Hours:
- Theory: 400 hours
- Field Placement: 150 hours
- Medium of Instruction: English and Regional Language.
PGDPC Seats and Admission Procedure
- Total Seats: 50
- Admission Criteria: Entrance Test (subject to the university’s reservation policies).
Fee Structure
- Course Fee: ₹15,000/-
- Department Development Fund: ₹500/-
- Registration Fee: ₹100/- (to be paid via DD in favor of “Head, Department of Psychology, University of Kerala,” payable at SBI, Kariavattom).
