JN Tata Endowment Award 2026 – 27
It is a sought after loan scholarship to students to help them pursue Masters abroad. Every year up to 100 students avail this for their higher education. However, it should be noted that it is financial assistance through loans (at a nominal 2% interest) that must be repaid after the completion of the program.
The Endowment supports only higher studies overseas – Master’s, Ph.D., Post – doctoral fellowships, across all education streams.
Eligibility:
Indian nationals who have completed their undergraduate degree with minimum 60% marks or equivalent. Maximum age limit is 45 years as on June 30, 2025. ( Check official website for any changes)
Coverage:
It only covers the cost of education, however on select cases travel expenses also can be covered as travel grant and gift award from our allied Tata Trusts. You will need to apply for that separately.
Streams:
Fields can range across disciplines, including engineering, medicine, business, social sciences, humanities, physical sciences, environmental sciences, and more.
Selection Process for JN Tata Endowment Award 2026 may include an online test and interview with a subject expert.
Applications for the JN Tata Endowment Award 2026 will be open from the second week of January to the third week of March 2025. (Check the website for exact dates.)
