Brief Guide to JEE Advanced 2025
JEE Advanced is one of India’s most prestigious engineering entrance examinations, offering admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and other premier institutes. For the academic year 2025-26, the examination is organized by IIT Kanpur. Eligibility Criteria
For Indian Nationals and OCI/PIO (I):
- Performance in JEE Main 2025: Candidates must be among the top 2,50,000 performers in JEE Main 2025 (B.E./B.Tech. paper).
- Age Limit: Born on or after October 1, 2000 (relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/PwD).
- Number of Attempts: A maximum of two attempts in consecutive years.
- Class XII Examination: Must have appeared in Class XII for the first time in either 2024 or 2025 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
- Prior Admission: Should not have been admitted to an IIT in any program.
For Foreign Nationals and OCI/PIO (F):
- No requirement to appear in JEE Main.
- Age and other eligibility criteria are similar to Indian nationals.
