The Indian Navy Announces 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme for July 2025 Batch

The Indian Navy invites applications from unmarried men and women candidates for its prestigious 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme, leading to a Permanent Commission in Executive and Technical branches. Selected candidates will undergo a four-year B.Tech course at the esteemed Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala.

Indian Navy BTec Entry Scheme 2025 Eligibility

Educational Qualifications:

  • Candidates must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board. Secured at least 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) and 50% marks in English (in Class X or XII).
  • JEE (Main) – 2024 Requirement: Candidates must have appeared for JEE (Main) – 2024, as the shortlisting for the Service Selection Board (SSB) will be based on the All India Common Rank List (CRL) published by NTA.

Age and Marital Status

Candidates must be born between 02 Jan 2006 and 01 Jul 2008 (both dates inclusive). Only unmarried candidates are eligible

Branches: Executive and Technical (Engineering & Electrical)
Vacancies: 36 (including a maximum of 7 vacancies for women)

Indian Navy BTec Entry Scheme 2025 Selection Process

  • Shortlisting: Based on JEE (Main) CRL 2024.
  • SSB Interviews: Scheduled at Bangalore, Bhopal, Kolkata, and Visakhapatnam starting March 2025. Candidates will be informed via email and SMS.
  • Merit List: Prepared based on SSB scores. Final selection is subject to medical fitness, police verification, and availability of vacancies.

Selected candidates will pursue a B.Tech degree in the following streams.

  • Applied Electronics & Communication Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Electronics & Communication Engineering
