Eligibility Criteria
For Full-Time PhD
- Minimum Educational Qualification (MEQ):
- M.Tech/M.E.: Minimum 60% marks (6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale) for General/OBC/EWS, and 55% marks (5.5 CGPA) for SC/ST/PwD.
- B.Tech/B.E.: Minimum 60% marks (6.0 CGPA) for General/OBC/EWS, and 55% marks (5.5 CGPA) for SC/ST/PwD.
- National-Level Examination Qualification: GATE/NET/CSIR/DST INSPIRE or equivalent is required unless exempted as per institute norms.
- Exemptions:
Candidates from CFTIs with CGPA ≥ 7.5 on a 10-point scale (75% aggregate marks) in a 4-year degree program are exempt from the GATE/National Level Exam requirement.
For Part-Time PhD
In addition to the above criteria:
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of post-qualification full-time professional experience, depending on the qualifying degree.
- No Objection Certificate (NOC): Employed candidates must provide a NOC from their employer detailing research permissions and facilities.
