Goa University – Admission Ranking Test (GU ART 2025-26 )
Goa University invites applications for admissions to its Post Graduate (PG) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) programs for the academic year 2025-26 through the Goa University Admission Ranking Test (GU-ART). Applications are to be submitted online.
GU ART 2025 Important Dates
- Registration Period: 22nd January 2025 to 10th February 2025
- Change of Discipline Test: 20th February 2025
- GU-ART Round I Test Dates:
- 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th March, and 6th April 2025
Programs Covered
- PG Programs at Goa University and Affiliated Colleges:
Admissions to most PG programs, except certain MBA and specialized M.Sc. programs, are based on GU-ART. - B.Ed. Programs: Offered at affiliated colleges with GU-ART as the eligibility test along with additional criteria.
GU ART 2025 Eligibility
- Admissions are based on GU-ART rankings. Graduation marks will be used to determine eligibility for the program.
- Candidates in their final year of graduation can also apply and will receive provisional admission until their final results are declared.

Application Process
- Applications are to be submitted online at Admissions Portal.
- Last Date for Applications: 10th February 2025
- Documents required include SSC, HSSC, UG, and PG marksheets, along with certificates for category-based reservations, passport-size photograph, and signature in specified formats.
Application Fees
- General/OBC/EWS: ₹750 (First application), ₹600 (Subsequent applications)
- SC/ST (Goa): ₹375 (First application), ₹300 (Subsequent applications)
- Persons with Disabilities: No fees
GU-ART Examination Details
- Format: 100 marks, 50 Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs)
- Sections:
- Section I (Easy): 15 questions
- Section II (Moderate): 15 questions
- Section III (Difficult): 20 questions
- Negative Marking: 0.5 marks for wrong answers.
- Sections:
- Duration: 90 minutes
Counseling and Seat Allotment
- Physical counseling for seat allotment will be conducted at Goa University.
- Reserved category seats unfilled after Round I will be transferred to the unreserved category.
- Selected candidates must pay a seat confirmation fee of ₹10,000 online.
