Delhi School of Economics MBA Programs

The Department of Commerce, Faculty of Commerce and Business, invites applications for admission to the following MBA Programmes for 2025:

  • MBA (Business Analytics)
  • MBA (Human Resource Development)
  • MBA (International Business)

Key Dates

  • Online Application Opens: December 6, 2024
  • Last Date for Application Submission: January 3, 2025, by 4:00 PM

Eligibility Criteria

For Indian Students

  1. A Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Delhi or a recognized equivalent institution with at least 50% aggregate marks (relaxation for reserved categories as per university norms).
  2. Must have appeared for CAT 2024, conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs).
  3. Final-year undergraduate students may apply provisionally, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria at the time of admission.

For Foreign Students

  1. Foreign candidates must apply via the Foreign Students’ Registry Portal and meet the following criteria:
    • A minimum GMAT score of 650.
    • TOEFL scores are required for applicants with foreign degrees.
    • Applications through respective embassies/consulates are mandatory for non-residents.
  2. Foreign students are eligible under a 10% supernumerary quota.

Selection Procedure

Admission to the Delhi School of Economics MBA programmes will follow a two-stage process:

Stage 1: Initial Shortlisting

  1. CAT Score (80%): Computed as follows:
    (Overall Scaled Score Obtained / Maximum Score) × 100
  2. Class X Marks (10%)
  3. Class XII Marks (10%)

Stage 2: Final Selection

  • Merit lists will be prepared based on the above weightages.
  • Candidates will be called for counseling as per their merit and preference of programmes (MBA-BA, MBA-HRD, MBA-IB).
    Note: Preferences provided during application cannot be changed later.

Delhi School of Economics MBA Application Procedure

  1. Select your preferred MBA programmes (BA, HRD, IB).
  2. Pay the application fee:
    • General/OBC/CW: ₹2,000
    • SC/ST/EWS/PwBD: ₹1,000

Important Information

  • Preference Selection: Programme preferences are final and will be used during merit-based seat allocation.
  • CAT Application: Candidates must apply separately for CAT 2024 and the MBA programmes.
  • Merit List Display: Shortlisted candidates’ lists will be displayed on the website.
