National Testing Agency’s Mandate for CUET
The Ministry of Education and the University Grants Commission (UGC) have entrusted the National Testing Agency (NTA) with the responsibility of conducting the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). This initiative aims to facilitate admissions into Postgraduate Programmes in Central Universities as well as other participating Universities, Institutions, Organizations, and Autonomous Colleges.
CUET PG 2024 Programmes in the Academic Session 2024-25
In a significant development, the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is set to be introduced for admissions into both Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programmes in Central and participating Universities for the academic session 2024-25. This standardized test is designed to offer a common platform, ensuring equal opportunities for candidates nationwide. The adoption of a single examination will streamline the admissions process for various Central Universities.

The implementation of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) signifies a commitment to providing equal opportunities to candidates across the country. CUET (PG): A Gateway to Central and Participating Universities
Specifically focusing on Postgraduate admissions, CUET (PG) serves as a single-window opportunity for students aspiring to gain admission to Central Universities (CUs) and other participating organizations. This inclusive approach encompasses State Universities, Deemed Universities, and Private Universities across the country, providing a comprehensive solution for PG admissions.
CUET (PG) – 2024: CBT Mode and Admission Process
The upcoming CUET (PG) for the academic session 2024-25 will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. The examination will be organized in three shifts, offering flexibility to candidates. This standardized testing approach aims to streamline the admission process and ensure a fair and efficient evaluation of students seeking admissions in the next academic session.
CUET (PG) – 2024 : Eligibility
The candidates who have passed thebachelor degree/equivalent examination or appearing in 2024 irrespective of their age can appear in CUET (PG) 2024 examination. (Please check respective eligibility criteria of each university/course before applying.)
Last date for Online Submission of Application Form for CUET PG 2024 : 24 January 2024 (upto 11:50 P.M.)
