Common Engineering Entrance Test and Admissions (CEETA-PG) 2025 Admission Notice
Conducted by Anna University, Chennai
Applications are invited for the Common Engineering Entrance Test and Admissions (CEETA-PG) 2025 for admission to the following postgraduate programs:
- Master of Engineering (M.E.)
- Master of Technology (M.Tech.)
- Master of Architecture (M.Arch.)
- Master of Planning (M.Plan.)
CEETA PG 2025 Participating Institutions
- University Departments of Anna University, Chennai, Anna University Regional Campuses, and University Colleges of Engineering.
- Annamalai University.
- Government and Government-Aided Engineering Colleges.
- Technical institutions funded by the Central Government.
Note: Self-financing engineering colleges may also consider CEETA-PG 2025 scores for their admissions.
Program Structure
- Full-Time Programs: Duration of 2 years (4 semesters).
- Part-Time Programs: Duration of 3 years (6 semesters).
- Candidates opting for full-time programs should not engage in other full-time programs or jobs during the course.
- Part-time candidates are not permitted to convert to full-time mode.
CEETA PG 2025 Eligibility
- General Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from a recognized institution with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for BC/BCM/MBC/SC/SCA/ST candidates of Tamil Nadu).
- Final-year students in qualifying programs (except AMIE and similar certifications) are also eligible to apply.
- Additional Requirements for AMIE and Similar Certifications:
- Candidates must have passed Section A and Section B of AMIE or similar certifications before May 31, 2013.
- Two years of regular, full-time teaching or industrial experience in the relevant field is mandatory.
- Nativity and Reservation:
- Candidates must have studied continuously in Tamil Nadu for the last 5 years or provide a valid Nativity Certificate (digital/e-certificate).
- Communal reservation applies only to Tamil Nadu native candidates.

Application Process and Fee Details
- Mode of Application: Online only, through the CEETA-PG official website.
- Application Fee:
- SC/SCA/ST (Tamil Nadu): ₹500 + ₹400 (Counseling fee) + 18% GST.
- Others: ₹1000 + ₹800 (Counseling fee) + 18% GST.
Note: Applications with a concessional fee submitted by non-eligible categories will be rejected.
CEETA PG Counseling Process
- Admissions will be made through a single-window counseling process.
- A separate notification will be released for the counseling schedule and procedure.
Documents Required
The following documents must be uploaded during the application process:
- X and XII Standard mark sheets.
- Qualifying degree certificates (provisional or final) and semester-wise mark sheets.
- Transfer certificate.
- Community certificate (for reserved categories in Tamil Nadu).
- Nativity certificate (if applicable).
- Experience certificate (if applicable).
- Disability certificate (if applying under Differently-Abled Persons quota).

Reservation Policy
The allocation of seats will follow the reservation norms of the Government of Tamil Nadu:
- OC: 31%
- BC: 26.5%
- BCM: 3.5%
- MBC/DNC: 20%
- SC: 15%
- SCA: 3%
- ST: 1%
Post-Matric Scholarship
Eligible SC/SCA/ST candidates with parental income below ₹2,50,000 can apply for the Post-Matric Scholarship.
