Eligibility Criteria
- Fellowship Requirement:
- A valid National-level fellowship (CSIR, ICMR, UGC, DBT) of 5 years for pursuing a Ph.D.
- Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) of 3 years, extendable by 2 years.
- Fellowship validity must extend at least 4 months from the last application date.
- Educational Qualification:
- Candidates from Medical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Physical Sciences, Mathematical and Information Sciences are eligible.
Selection Procedure
- Shortlisted candidates will be directly called for an interview.
- The interview will be held at THSTI, NCR Biotech Science Cluster, Faridabad.
- Number of Seats: 8
- UR: 2 | OBC: 3 (2 backlog seats) | ST: 2 (1 backlog seat) | EWS: 1
Program Structure
- Coursework: Two semesters of Ph.D. coursework governed by JNU rules.
- Successful completion of the coursework is mandatory for registration with JNU.
- All fees (admission, registration, annual) as per JNU guidelines are applicable.
- Shared hostel accommodation available in lieu of HRA.
