BITSAT is an online entrance examination conducted by BITS Pilani to select students for its undergraduate programs. It serves as the gateway for admission to Bachelor of Engineering (BE), Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm), and integrated Master of Science (MSc) courses across its campuses in Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad.

Held annually, BITSAT is a highly competitive exam attracting nearly 3 lakh applicants each year. The test evaluates candidates on their aptitude in subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (or Biology for BPharm), English, and Logical Reasoning, making it one of the most sought-after exams for aspiring engineers and science students in India.

Eligibility
Modes of Admission
- BITSAT-2025:
- Eligibility:
- For all programs except B.Pharm: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) in 10+2 with 75% aggregate in PCM and 60% in each subject.
- For B.Pharm: Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) or PCM in 10+2 with 75% aggregate in PCB/PCM and 60% in each subject.
- Candidates must have passed 12th in 2023 or appearing in 2024.
- Admission based purely on BITSAT-2024 scores.
- Eligibility:
- Direct Admission for Board Toppers:
- First rank students from central or state boards in PCM/PCB streams are eligible.
- PCM toppers can apply for all programs; PCB toppers are eligible only for B.Pharm.
- International Students Admission Scheme:
- Open to candidates holding foreign passports.
- Minimum 75% aggregate in PCM from an internationally recognized board or SAT equivalent scores.
- BITS-RMIT and BITS-UB Collaborative Programs:
- Dual degree programs in collaboration with RMIT (Australia) and University at Buffalo (USA).
- Eligibility: 75% aggregate in PCM and qualifying scores in BITSAT-2024.
