Union Bank of India, one of India’s largest public sector banks, invites online applications from Indian citizens for engagement as apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 (as amended from time to time).

Eligibility
- Age Limit: 20 to 28 years as on 01-Feb-2025
- Age relaxations:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (NCL): 3 years
- PWBD: 10 years
- Age relaxations:
- Educational Qualification (as on 05-Mar-2025):
- Graduation from a recognized University/Institute
- Graduation must be completed on or after 01-Apr-2021
- Language Proficiency:
- Candidates must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding one of the local languages of their respective state.
- Candidates need to provide a 10th/12th standard mark sheet as proof of local language proficiency.
Training & Stipend
- Training Period: 1 Year
- Stipend: ₹15,000 per month
- No other allowances/benefits will be provided
Selection Process for the Apprenticeship at Union Bank of India
- Online Test (Objective Type)
- General/Financial Awareness (25 Qs, 25 Marks)
- General English (25 Qs, 25 Marks)
- Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude (25 Qs, 25 Marks)
- Computer Knowledge (25 Qs, 25 Marks)
- Total Duration: 60 minutes
- Local Language Test (if required)
- Medical Examination (Medically fit certificate from a registered MBBS doctor is mandatory)

Application Fee (Non-Refundable)
- General/OBC: ₹800 + GST
- SC/ST/Females: ₹600 + GST
- PWBD: ₹400 + GST

- Candidates cannot apply multiple times; only the last valid application will be considered.
- The apprenticeship does not guarantee future employment in Union Bank of India.
- Candidates must use their own laptop/desktop/mobile with a camera for the online test.
- Admit cards and results will be published on the Bank’s website.
