Invites applications from eligible candidates for the Ph.D. programme given below:
School of Physical Sciences (3 vacancies)
Eligibility: Master’s degree should carry at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale or an equivalent degree from a foreign educational institution. Relaxations as per govt. norms.
Qualification in UGC-CSIR-NET (JRF or LS) / SLET / GATE / NBHM / JEST / DBT-BET/DSTINSPIRE or PET conducted by the University of Mumbai / Teachers’ Fellowship examinations is an essential eligibility criterion.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on November 30, 2024. The age limit will be relaxed by 5 years for the SC/ST/Divyangjan candidates and by 3 years for the OBC candidates.
Only those intending to pursue the program on a full-time basis should apply.
Mode of selection: Selection will be made based on the results of a written test and /or an interview conducted by CEBS.
Last date to receive applications for PhD in Physics 2025 at Dept. of Atomic Energy, Mumbai University is on or before 30th November 2024.
