The Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination invites online applications for Tripura Joint Entrance Examination (TJEE) 2025 for admission to Engineering, Technological, Veterinary, Agriculture, Fisheries, Paramedical, and other Professional Degree Courses against seats reserved for the State of Tripura.
Last Date to apply for TJEE 2025 | Timelines
- Online Application Starts: February 10, 2025 (4:00 PM)
- Online Application Closes: February 18, 2025
- Correction Window: February 28 – March 5, 2025 (by written request)
- Admit Card Download: Second week of April 2025
- Exam Date: April 23, 2025 (Wednesday)
- Model Answer Key Release: April 30, 2025
- Feedback Submission for Answer Key: Till May 7, 2025
- Result Declaration: End of May 2025
- Counseling Process: June – July 2025
Eligibility Criteria for TJEE 2025
Candidates must fulfill the following criteria to be eligible for TJEE 2025:
Citizenship & Residency
- Candidate must be an Indian citizen.
- Candidate must be a permanent resident of Tripura for at least 10 years before the date of application.
- Candidates must provide a Permanent Resident of Tripura Certificate (PRTC) issued by an appropriate authority.
Educational Qualification
- Candidate must have passed, appeared, or due to appear in 2025 for the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) from:
- Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE)
- Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)
- Other equivalent recognized boards
- Must have studied the relevant subjects for the entrance exam:
- Engineering & Technology Courses: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM Group A)
- Veterinary, Agriculture, Fisheries, Paramedical & Other Courses: Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB Group B)
- Both Engineering & Medical Courses: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Biology (PCMB Group C)
Special Category Eligibility
- Children of All India Services (AIS) Officers of Manipur-Tripura cadre and State Government employees posted outside Tripura are eligible.
- Children of Central Government employees serving in Tripura for at least 3 years continuously can apply.
- Wards of Ex-Servicemen (Army, Navy, Air Force):
- Must have lived in Tripura for at least 5 years before application.
- Candidate must have studied in Tripura and passed/appeared in Higher Secondary (10+2) examination.
- Children of Serving Defense Personnel (Army/Navy/Air Force) hailing from Tripura are eligible if they have stayed in Tripura continuously for at least 5 years.
Previous Admission Restriction
- Candidates who have previously secured a seat through TJEE in any year (inside or outside Tripura) cannot apply again unless they have surrendered their previous seat in writing before the deadline.
Reservation Policy
- Scheduled Caste (SC)
- Scheduled Tribe (ST)
- Persons with Disabilities (PwD)
- Wards of Ex-Servicemen (ESM)
(Reservation percentage will be as per the State Government norms.)
Candidates claiming reservation must upload valid certificates from the appropriate authority.

Candidates must pay the fee online using Net Banking, Debit Card, or Credit Card.

- Fill the Application Form: Enter personal, educational, and residency details.
- Upload Documents:
- Recent Passport-size Photo (10 KB – 200 KB)
- Signature (4 KB – 30 KB)
- PRTC (if applicable)
- SC/ST/PwD/ESM Certificates (if applicable)
- Pay the Application Fee Online.
- Submit & Print the Acknowledgment Slip.
- Candidates are NOT required to send any documents by post.
Counseling & Seat Allotment
- The counseling process will be conducted online in June-July 2025.
- Candidates will be allotted seats based on TJEE 2025 merit, availability, and category-wise reservations.
