Admission Notice for Four-Year Bachelor of Science (Research) Programme
Academic Year 2025-26
The Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, invites applications for admission to its Four-Year Bachelor of Science (Research) Programme for the academic year 2025-26, with the session commencing in August 2025.
Eligibility for IISc Bangalore BSc Research 2025 Program
Candidates must have completed their 10+2 (or equivalent) examination in 2023, 2024, or 2025 and must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects, along with any other subjects.
Additionally, candidates must have secured:
- First Class (60%) or equivalent grade in their 10+2 (or equivalent) examination.
- For SC/ST candidates, a Pass Class is sufficient.
Selection Procedure
Selection will be based on the merit list of one of the following national examinations:
- JEE (Advanced) 2025
- IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2025
Note: Candidates must qualify in at least one of the above exams, and their exam result must be valid as of August 1, 2025.
