Admission Notice for BTech Programme in Mathematics & Computing
The Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, invites applications for admission to its B.Tech Program in Mathematics & Computing for the academic year 2025-26, with the session commencing in August 2025.
Eligibility
Candidates must have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in 2023, 2024, or 2025, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in their first attempt.
Additionally, candidates must satisfy at least one of the following conditions:
- Secured at least 75% aggregate marks in the Class XII (or equivalent) Board Examination (65% for SC/ST/PwD candidates).
- Be within the category-wise top 20 percentile of successful candidates in their respective Class XII (or equivalent) Board Examination.
For percentile calculations, the following five subjects will be considered:
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Mathematics
- A language (higher-scoring language if multiple were taken)
- Any other subject with the highest marks among the remaining subjects.
Selection Procedure
- Admission will be based on JEE (Advanced) 2025 Ranks.
