The National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (NIRDPR), under the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, invites applications for its prestigious Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Rural Management (PGDM-RM) for the academic session 2025-27. Eligibility Conditions
- Academic Qualification:
- Minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST and PWD candidates) or equivalent in Graduation.
- Final-year students expecting to complete their degree by June 15, 2025, are also eligible to apply.
- Entrance Exam Score:
- A valid score in CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, GMAT, ATMA, CUET PG, or a Management Aptitude Test conducted by state governments.
Selection Process

- Shortlisted candidates will be invited for Group Discussions (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI) for final selection.
Programme Details
- Duration: Two years (Full-time residential).
- Course Fee: ₹2,31,000/- per annum.
- Boarding & Lodging: ₹1,17,000/- per annum (accommodation in the NIRDPR hostel).
- Caution Deposit: ₹10,000/- (refundable).
- Seat Registration Fee: ₹20,000/- (non-refundable; adjusted against the first trimester fee).
Scholarships
- Merit-based scholarships for outstanding performance during trimester examinations as per NIRDPR policy.
- Financial assistance from the North Eastern Council, Shillong, for economically backward students from the North Eastern states.
Reservations
Seats are reserved for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), EWS, and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) as per Government of India norms.
