Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur invites applications for its prestigious Ph.D. Programme 2025, designed for individuals with outstanding academic achievements, strong motivation, and the potential to conduct high-quality research at an international level. IIM Raipur PhD Eligibility
Applicants must meet one of the following qualifications:
- Master’s Degree/PGP from IIMs or equivalent in any discipline with at least 55% aggregate marks or equivalent grade point.
- Professional Qualifications: CA/ICWA with a degree or CS with B.Com and a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.
- 4-Year/8-Semester Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech/B.Arch) with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 out of 10.
- Five-Year Integrated Master’s Degree in any discipline with at least 60% aggregate marks.
Note:
- A relaxation of 5% is provided for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
- Candidates appearing for final-year examinations in 2025 may apply provisionally.
- Applicants must not exceed 50 years of age as of June 1, 2025.
Selection Process
- Eligibility Test Scores:
Candidates must have valid scores from CAT, GATE, GRE, GMAT, JRF (UGC/CSIR), or UGC-NET taken in the last two years (on or after July 1, 2023).- IIM PGP alumni (last 10 years) with a minimum grade point equivalent to 6.0 out of 10 are exempt from test scores.
- Shortlisting for Personal Interview (PI):
Candidates will be shortlisted based on academic records and test scores. - Final Selection:
Shortlisted candidates will undergo a Personal Interview (PI) at IIM Raipur from May 26–28, 2025.
Results will be announced by June 5, 2025.

Application Process
- Online Application:
- Complete the online application form available on the IIM Raipur website (www.iimraipur.ac.in).
- Candidates can apply for up to two areas of specialization.
- Application Fee:
- General: ₹1,000
- NC-OBC/EWS/SC/ST/DAP: ₹500
- Submission of Documents:
- Upload supporting documents (e.g., transcripts, certificates, research papers).
